User Rights Module

The module "User Rights" provides a comprehensive supervision and access to data and control actions.

Overview

• User categorisation - Categories the users in "User", "Administrator" or "Viewer" classes
• User groups - Organises the users (Rights) groups in e.g. NMC, civil, logic, etc.
• Activities classes - Defines the rights in function of the activity class:
  create / delete / modify / attributes / delete attributes, etc.
• User rights - Attributes a unique right per user and per object type on "activity class" level
  
  
  
• Groups rights - Attributes a unique right per user group and per object type on "activity class" level
• Rights per object type - ConnectMaster put at your disposal more than 40 object types you have the possibility to rank and define the actions, which could be taken with them
• Modelling - Create a model where you will define your process and your own sub set out of more than 130 different rights.
  Such templates are accessible on user or on group levels.

ConnectMaster, additionally to the classic documentation of infrastructures and telecommunication elements makes it possible the management and planning of modern telecommunication networks based on PDH, SDH and (D)WDM and the related signals down to the connection points and channel level.

User administration - In many companies, ConnectMaster is implemented as a Central Information-System.

The fact that ConnectMaster guarantees the quality and the exactitude of the data is of the most importance. In the extensive ConnectMaster software package, much information of different types can be administrated simultaneously. In many cases due to the abundance of information, responsibles should be appointed for specific key data.

ConnectMaster offers with its module User Rights a comprehensive solution for the structuring and attribution of responsibilities.

User groups

The users will be organised into user groups, in which the responsibilities will be distributed. It is also possible to provide a structure where each and any user could have its own profile.

Object types

The classification of the rights is very detailed, going down to the object / element, levels. The object levels in ConnectMaster are structured as per the object types, e.g. Element, Transport-container, Location, etc.

Rights

Per object type, the access / prohibition rights can be assigned to the action class level. The action classes are, create, modify, delete, creation of attributes, etc.
