The Drawing Management module proposes drawing administration and automatic functions.

At any time it is possible to see in which drawing appears a particular object and to navigate in that specific drawing.

Create or acquire your individual Visio-Shapes (samples, drafts).

Automatic drawings generation
Complete your shapes with the automatic assembling and configuration function and with automatic colouring.

Active User
The active user will be registered. It will be possible for him, without any specific right, to make a copy of a document.

ConnectMaster, additionally to the classic documentation of infrastructures and telecommunication elements makes it possible the management and planning of modern telecommunication networks based on PDH, SDH and (D)WDM and the related signals down to the connection points and channel level.

Product Description

Drawing management
The management of modern telecommunication networks requires often a graphic representation by means of drawings of network sections and network components.
The administration of the final large drawings quantity becomes rapidly a complicated task. ConnectMaster gives you the possibility of keeping an easy overview of your drawings.

Drawings types
ConnectMaster make it possible to generate and manage your divers drawings types. Per drawing type it is possible to define specific Visio-Shapes. Additionally to the, shapes individual information, text and colour can be shown.

Drawings navigation
The management of network components requires generally the presence of elements and objects to be shown on several drawings. The access to a specific drawing is always a challenge for the administrator, challenge that is solved by ConnectMaster's drawing management module.

Drawings content
ConnectMaster manages the content of all your drawings. Through such functionality it is, at any time, possible to find on which drawing specific information can be find, e.g. a specific ConnectMaster object. Thanks to this function it is always easy to open a specific drawing and to navigate between the different drawings.

Active user
In a multi-user environment, it should be possible that several people will access the same drawing. ConnectMaster gives access to the registration list of all active users. By means of this information, any user can request the list of  "User Rights". In case, the drawing should be analysed by other persons, the system will create a copy of the document.

Drawings history
The history of the drawing modifications will be registered with the names of the users and a mandatory comment.

Drawings hierarchy
Due to the multitude of available drawings a clear structuring is required. ConnectMaster provides two mechanisms to solve this issue:

1. The "location structure" defines a link relation between the location and the drawings. By such way it is possible to define which plans are related to a location (e.g. floor plan, rack layout, map)
2. The drawing structure defines the relation between the different drawings. Doing so e.g. a network overview drawing can refer to several details drawings.

Automatic Shapes
The individual and scaled representation of cabinets and multiplexers including their inside elements, makes it possible to make a quick analysis of the available space.  As basic information for the operating departments such representation is indispensable. The creation of defined objects, which will be freely structured in a specific hierarchy and the access to each and any object or drawing are at any time possible.

Library
Dynamic Design proposes a shapes gallery in constant enlargement. The individual adaptation and customisation of the shapes, based on customer's data models, can be easily made.

Training
Dynamic Design offers trainings on MS Visio and drawing management.

Individuality
In line with the training, the users will acquire the capability of creating their own shapes reflecting their specific necessities. Per drawing type, all ConnectMaster element can be allocated to individual shapes. Dimensions, text content and shape are freely definable. The status can be defined by means of colours. Multiplexers composed by cards from different sizes, can be showed in a realistic way. The elements out of a cabinet or multiplexer will be automatically arranged.
